We can tackle WASH challenge only by working together and through different disciplines. This is reflected in our transdisciplinary literature review approach.
The team is currently working on a transdisciplinary literature review.
Its aim is to map the participatory approaches and community engagement in Low Middle Income Countries reported in literature across different disciplines (i.e. engineering, innovation, microbiology, gender studies, etc), as well as all Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) relevant projects. This will be presented in a UK workshop that brings together WASH and community engagement experts in order to build further on it.
The literature review will be also submitted for publication to a relevant journal and some of its key findings will be visualised in order to communicate beyond the academic/research community.
